Catwalk has the quality you would expect from a Holstein stallion, his looks and presence are backed up by his technique and power he provides over the jumps.



Together with his long term rider Robert Whitaker and Catwalk IV have had great success they have won  numerous Grand Prix’s and have successfully represented Great Britain in Nations Cups on many occasions.   In 2019 at the Helsinki 5* show Catwalk not only took the honours in the 5* Grand Prix but also went on to win the prestigious World Cup qualifier the same weekend, 2019 was a fantastic year for them with numerous 5* victories we look forward to their continued success. 



Catwalk has left his stamp on his youngsters and produced some beautiful athletic offspring, Catwalk IV now gelded  so only available for frozen semen and there is only a limited amount of frozen semen available.

Sharid was on flying form this week, taking a win in the 1.50 Santa Stakes on Sunday night and also a win in the Six Bar on Monday.

John and Sharid were the only pair to go clear in all 5 rounds of the Six Bar, finishing at a height of 1.90M.

John and HH Prince Torki bin Mohammed Al Saud’s Sharid shared the Thistledown Investments Six Bar title this evening after an incredible performance alongside Shane Breen and Cato Boy.

Both John and Shane jumped clear for 3 rounds, through to the final round, and having the option to jump again, or share first place, the pair opted to jump again.

The crowd pleasing decision was electrifying as both John and Shane jumped clear again at 1.85m, to share the title.

In an interview with H&H, John said 

“He’s good at six-bars, and they do him good. They get his focus because he can be a bit of a thug who likes to play around. As Shane said, as the fences get bigger, the distances between them get shorter, so the last two rounds I just went in slow and tried to hold him up in between, and he jumped very good.”

A win at Horse of The year Show for John and Sharid

John and Equine America Unick Du Francport were part of the winning Nations Cup Team at The Royal International Horse Show this afternoon.

A Nations Cup win at the Royal International Horse Show

John and Unick du Francport were part of the 3rd placed team in the Longines FEI Nations Cup of Switzerland.

Joined by Harry Charles, Jack Whitaker and Joe Stockdale, Great Britain were the only team to jump two clears in the first round, courtesy of  John and Unick du Francport and Harry Charles riding Casquo Blue. 

These clears were two of only 8 clear rounds in the first round across the 8 nations.

An unfortunate 2 fences from the team in round 2 left the British team on a final score of 12, just under 2.5 time penalties behind The Netherlands who finished in 2nd place, also with a final score of 12.

The competition was won by Switzerland who finished on 8 penalties.

John and Equine America Unick Du Francport were victorious at the Global Champions League Hamburg at the weekend.

John and Marcus Ehning paired up as part of the Valkesnwaard United Team to take the win with a combined double clear and final time of 141.76 seconds, finishing over 10 seconds ahead of second placed Madrid in Motion, represented by Jack Whitaker and Mark McAuley.

John and Sharid then finished in joint 1st place on Sunday's Five Fence Challenge. Sharing the honours with Shane Breen and Vistogrand, John and H.H. Prince Torki Bin Mohammed Al Saud.

John and Unick Du Francport also finished in 2nd place in The Grandstand Challenge Cup at HOYS on Saturday.

John and the flashy bay gelding crossed the line just 0.12 seconds behind the class winners Michael Duffy and Jeff Ten Halven.

The team from Great Britain, won the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Challenge Cup on Saturday at Barcelona. John and Unick du Francport were selected for the squad alongside Jack Whitaker, Harry Charles, Emily Moffit and Holly Smith

It was a fantastic result for John and Unick Du Francport on Saturday night in the Longines Grand Prix at the London leg of the Global Champions Tour.

Beaten by just 0.14 seconds by Sweden's Peder Fredricson, John was last to go in the jump off and crossed the line with the full support of the home crowd behind him.
