Robert and Vermento made history this week at the Agria Hickstead Royal International Horse Show, winning the prestigious King George V Gold Cup for the third time! The unbelievable pairing put in two perfect rounds, being the only duo to jump double clear. What a way to finish a fantastic week and what a horse!
What a week at the London International. The Whitakers picked up top placings across the competition. Robert and Vermento flew into 4th place in the Longines World Cup leg. The standout for the week has got to be John and Sharid. The high atmosphere Six Bar Challenge was fiercely battled by top riders, including Sebastian Hughes and Max Kuhner. With a final height of 1.90m, the crowd were on the edge of their seats. The final result? A shared win between John and Sebastian. Well deserved!
Following his success on Gentlemen VH Veldhoff in the June show, Robert returned to Hickstead for another week of fierce competition. This time on Vermento, Robert cleared the jump off in a lightning-fast 38.88 to win the Al Shira'aa King George V Gold cup. It's the second time Robert's cinched victory in the class, having previously won in 2023.
